Default tried the Blue Moon Carb Concepts pizza

I wasn't wild about it....though, it was better than the one I made with Atkins Pancake Mix as the crust. Very bland. We put pepperoni on it (the store didn't have the pepperoni version). I think it was the crust that was the bad part. Had a wierd taste. Overall, I give it a B-.

I tried Ian's Low Carb Pizza.....and all I can say it BLECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I'm really craving pizza I will order Pizza Hut's version of low carb. Ofcourse I save it as a treat only I order it maybe once every 2 months or so....It does cause a stall but I have never gained after eating it and the stall lasts only a couple of days......A fair price to pay for having low carb pizza which actually tastes like pizza!!

I believe they call it the "Light and Fit" pizza or something similar to that....It's a low carb version of thier original pizza.

No its not low-carb, its just lower-calorie. One slice has 20 net carbs, i dont consider that low-carb at all.

True....It's not exactly Low Carb, but, it is lower carbs than thier regular pizza, and , if I need a pizza fix one or two slices of that is way better than the original which has like 32-34 carbs per slice (according to the store manager I spoke to)......The point I'm trying to make is that the store bought lowcarb ones are horrible, at least the ones I tried are, and, they do nothing for my craving at the time.....It's better for me to just have a couple slices and get over the craving instead of letting it build up and then I end up doing something drastic. That's usually around my TOM......LOL

Does anyone have a Mother Mousse by them?.....They have a to-die-for low carb chocolate mousse......It's 4 carbs per serving and the serving is huge!!!! I only have it once in a blue moon because it's 4 bucks a piece but sooooo yummy!!! And they are in the process of developing a low carb cheese cake....So far all the cheese cakes I've tasted have not been worth the carbs. I hope this one will be better.

I would imagine the taste alone would not only kill your immediate craving, but make you never want to touch pizza again!

LOL.....Unfortunatly that's not the case!!! It just makes me want the real thing even more......Wouldn't it be nice if you could taste something really horrible and then not want to ever touch anything the even resembled it for the rest of your life???...What a dream!

i thought the Blue Moon Pizza was absolutely delicious.. but then again i havent had a real pizza or cheated in many many months, so thats probably why. If you have eaten real pizza recently im sure this would taste bad compared to that LOL

I'm VERY happy simply making my own pizza using a low carb tortilla. Extemely satisfying. Cheap and quick since the crust doesn't have to bake. It completely ended my pizza cravings. I highly recommend it!!

put a low-carb tortilla in the microwave between two paper towels for 5 minutes, then when its crispy and hard cover it with mozarella cheese (the real kind, not the kind made with skim milk) Then cover with pizza sauce (not spagetti sauce or tomato sauce) Then cover with whatever toppings you want and put in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is melted. Its really good to make them that way.

I don't microwave my low-carb tortillia....just smear it with pizza sauce (very low carb!) add some finely chopped garlic and onion, pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Pop it in the oven for about 5 minutes then turn the broiler on for the last minute or so (watch carefully) to bubble the top. Cut it with a pizza slicer and eat the whole thing!!!
