Default Daily Menu?

I saw this in the SBD part of this forum, so thought we needed a thread like this here

So - what DO you eat?

This is my menu, effective until the marathon

Breakfast - 2 eggs with cottage cheese, milk
Snack - cottage cheese, celery
Lunch - tomato, onion and spinach topping with whole wheat pasta
Snack - cashews, skim cheese
Dinner - protein, veggies, salad
Night snack - whipped cream

Once I'm officially on atkins, I'll sub chicken or sausage for the pasta, and kill the milk for a few weeks

For the past couple of weeks my menu has not been normal since I was away and just going through a very stressful period and have had very little time.

My general menu is usually something like

Breakfast
2 eggs fried in butter with salsa, spinach, cream cheese and olives (sounds gross but its really good!)

Lunch
Grilled salmon (made with butter and rosemary) with salad (lettuce, spinach, tomato, cucumber, avocado, onion, lemon juice, olive oil, s&P)

Snack (I dont snack much, it depends on how my calories are doing for the day)
A slice of flax bread with peanut butter
or shredded coconut
or some veggies with blue cheese dressing

Dinner
Steak or chicken leg, steamed broccoli or asparagus or some type of veggie and salad.

Dessert (I dont normally have it but sometimes I do)
Berries with heavy cream or sour cream
Shredded coconut (sometimes with cream cheese)
Jello with whipped cream

i eat tuna and avocado every day with mayo..

a serving (or 2) of some sort of casserole (I have been making one every 5-6 days)..

if im at work ill drink a can or two of diet rite..

and a salad or veggies of some type with carb well dressing..

my menus have been off for the past week, not cheating, just not eating what makes me lose the fastest

oh.. tomorrow on my day off I am making sloppy joe pie and mexican chicken.. I can see my husband eating the majority of the sloopy joe pie, so I will probably make that with ground turkey and I will also have to make SUE'S MEXICALI GROUND BEEF AND CABBAGE PIE for my lunches this week

I was just wondering when I saw "Tuna everyday" if that is good for you??? I read in Atkins about the levels of mercury in Tuna. I try not to eat tuna more than one time per month (meaning I made some tuna salad and then eat it untill it is gone...usally 3 or 4 days)

Mine is typically like this (keep in mind that for the last two weeks Im trying something different to see how it goes. Im upping my fat, and carbs as I have been way under 20 per day to see if I can break my stall. My calories are higher due to the extra fat, but I am already feeling better, less hunger throughout the day and more energy.) Ill post my results....

Regular mug of Coffee with 1 splenda and splash of carb countdown whole fat.

Breakfast - An egg or two with cheese and a pat of butter (scrambled) / or an egg or two with cottage or ricotta cheese, vanilla and splenda (microwaved its kind of like a souffle).

Lunch - Protein and 1 - 1 1/2 cups of veggies with butter (amount of veggies, depending on carb counts) Today, broiled pork chop and brussel sprouts.

Supper - Protien and 1 - 1 1/2 cups of veggies with butter.

Snacks - 2 or 3 per day - almonds, string or other cheese, cottage or ricotta cheese with vanilla and splenda, pork skins, usually 2 oz cream cheese with splenda after lunch or supper.

*And on workout days a protien shake (1 cup Carb Countdown whole fat and 1 scoop protien powder) keeping within my carb counts for the day.

* Also, I use something high fat, mayo with hot sauce or horseradish sauce to dip my meats in. I have stopped buying the absolute leanest cuts of meat. I now am eating the skin when I bake chicken....etc.

Today I will eat:

Breakfast:
2 pieces French Toast (with atkins bread 3 net carbs) with Walden Farms 0 carb syrup (a treat for me, not the norm), and butter
2 pieces of thick bacon

Lunch:
Normally it's a cottage cheese salad, but I need to buy more lettuce at the store
So, I'll have a pizza made from a low carb tortilla with with low carb spaghetti sauce, olives, and lots of mozzerella (maybe a cup?)

Dinner:
Steak
1/2 cup steamed cauliflower
1 artichoke
1/2 batch of hollandaise (LOTS OF BUTTA in THAT!)

If I snack, I'll have some heavy cream w/Diet Rite, some pork rinds, or maybe an advantage bar

I'm currently eating 30 carbs a day on OWL.

I know that tuna is one of the things listed to not eat often while pregnant. It also said that the albacore tuna has higher mercury content than the regular canned tuna. There are several fish on the list of high levels of mercury including shark, swordfish, tilefish and mackerel.
