Question need help calorie distribution question

I signed up for a fitday.com account.

One section asked a question about percentage of calories as fat, protein and carbohydrate.

Selecting the total carbs level is easy.

My question, what percentage calories should come from fat vs protein?

the ratio that many follow is

fat - 70%
Carbs - 5%
Protein - 25%

Some have more fat and less carbs and protein, some have more protein less fat. Just an average.

Depending on where you are in the plan (Atkins, that is), upwards of 65% per day of your calories will be from fats. If you're on higher calories you can be eating as much as 80% fat. Hopefully that helps!
