I'm happy to be part of this group of losers!

Let's get to know each other a little more. I'll start . . .

I live on the east coast in Wilmington NC and am a 54 year old female with a husband of 33 years and two grown, married daughters, two son-in-laws that I really like and 2 of the best grandsons anyone could imagine. I work full-time as a Quality Program Manager for an engineering firm and my husband has been retired for the past 2 year (lucky him).

Eating properly and exercising should be easy since my husband is diabetic and controls his blood sugar with diet and exercise - he takes no meds for it! He is extrememly disciplined; he follows his diet perfectly and walks 2 to 3 miles every day. I on the other end of the spectrum, prefer to be a couch potatoe and eat everything in site. I am working to make South Beach and Curves a way of life for me.
