Default A few newbie questions

Hi everyone, I started my keto diet today. I'm 6'1, 253lbs and I plan to get down to about 180lbs. I have a few questions, I hope you guys/girls can help!

1: Constipation: What can I do about this? Last time I was on a keto diet I didn't defecate for 5 full days. After that I only used the bathroom like once every 3 days. Urination is fine though, I did that often. What can I do to avoid being constipated and push all of the food in my system OUT!?

2: Cardio: Should I be doing some sort of cardio with my keto diet? I hear that people who work out and lift weights do a keto diet and have a "carb up" day. Will it make me lose weight faster if I do cardio+keto WITHOUT carbing up? Or is carbing up necessary when you're doing keto+cardio?

3: Stretch Marks..... : I have tons of bad stretch marks from rapidly gaining weight. I gained like 70 lbs within a matter of months from being a total fatass. I mean, I ate chocolate syrup out the bottle, and I would eat a full bag of chocolate candy every day. What can I do to get rid of these stretch marks? And are they permanent?

Psyllium caps available at a health food store.
Now brand 500 mg caps take three or four a day. About 7.00 a bottle.
Works for me!
Exercise is good. Too much on low cal / keto is not so good. There is a lot of info on CKD (cyclical Ketogenic diet) Here

CKD is used by bodybuilders to cut fat and keep muscle.

Stretch marks? How about coconut oil or is that an old wives tale?
You'll find me posting alot on the CKD forum.

You can try ground flax see, which is found at health food stores. Keep it in the fridge. As for the stretch marks, they fade with time, but never fully disappear. They turn a silvery white on light skin. I don't know if coconut oil will help.Your skin can take so much and the stretch marks are evidence that it has had minute rips in it. I have had 3 kids and had some stretch marks, but I have more from my after-children weight gain.

Vitamin C tablets or magnesium tablets will both "move things along".

Don't know about the exercise - I don't do any.

Try rubbing Vitamin E into the stretch marks. Just break open the capsules and rub in.

Depending on when you post a question, we may all be asleep, at work or out for the evening. Sorry you felt neglected and hope you feel better now.
