You must be stronger than me. One piece of even Sugar Free Chocolate candy would start me on a binge of sweets....I would tell you try not to have it right now during Induction.

Last time I tried Atkins I was eating one of his bars (the wafer kind) only 3 carbs once a day then 2-3 a day...no weight lost...I have to watch that stuff as I am addicted to sweets....Good luck to you.

It won't KILL you, but I wouldn't recommend it. It's best to go without the sugar alcohols altogether, in my opinion, but especially during induction.

SOme people tolerate them without having to count them at all, others need to count them gram for gram as carbs. You won't really know until they cause a problem!

Hi Word,

Don't trust the net carbs, look at the nutrition label and only subtract the fiber. Some people can eat sugar alcohols and not stall....most cannot...and many end up with bad gas.... (I know...tmi).

Anyway....better those than the real thing, but it CAN stall you out, or even make you gain.
