Yes, according to an updated food list for Phase One, skim milk is fine. Here's a link to the list: Phase One foods

Is any kind of milk or source of calcium, being a drink, okay for induction phase? I am seriously lacking on calcium and haven't got around to buying vitamins, i really don't want to buy vitamins....

edit: whoops! my mistake... didn't notice this was in the SBD part at all. Well if anyone knows the answer to this question, for Atkins, let me know. Sorry for posting in the wrong spot!

I buy a fortified soymilk for calcium. Total protien has calcium added I think and also the hood lc yogurt (has the atkins seal on it) has I think 30% calcium in that. Almonds are a high source of calcium as well.

Hi Jenn - Just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your posts. Good luck with your pregnancy. I have four - you probably lmpw this since you have three - after two which is way more than double the work of one - the rest are less than 10% the work of one! In any case, congrats on your success and your new little one. I think you mentioned this one was a surprise - I have two of those what a joy! and mine are 22-31 these days!

Thanks pecan. Yeah after two the three ring circus is on. I figure I won't notice the extras after that.. guess we have both done our share of populating the earth, huh? LOL
