Default White Chocolate Cocoa Powder?

Does anyone know if you can get White Cocoa Powder? I want to use it to make my own white hot chocolate sweetened with Splenda. I have found both sugar-sweetened & sugar free white hot chocolate mixes, so I know that the pure white cocoa must exist. But I can't find it anywhere. Any ideas?

Actually, there's no such thing as pure white cocoa. "White chocolate" technically has no chocolate in it .. it's a composition of various ingredients, including cocoa butter (which has all the cocoa solids removed), sugar, milk and vanilla. Some cheap "white chocolate" products don't even use cocoa butter, they use hydrogenated vegetable oils instead

You might be able to find a sugar-free white chocolate flavoured syrup, such as DaVinci or Torani. Those are already sweetened with sucralose (splenda) and are zero carbs. A few stores may have these on the shelf, and also a number of Canadian online retailers carry as well.

hth,

Doreen

Thanks Doreen. Second Cup sells a delicious White Hot Chocolate powder mix. If you took out the sugar, do you think I could make whatever was left?

Try Sipper Sweets. They actually make splenda sweetened white chocolate drink mix. I bought mine at Fred Meyers (owned by Krogers). Found it on a LC endcap along with a variety of other drink mixes they make......Try there.

You can find sugar free white chocolate, but its loaded with maltitol.

If you want a good cocoa drink I reccomend schraffen-berger unsweetened cocoa and mix it with a bit of davinci syrup and a touch of cream and stir it really well till you make a thick syrupy pasty mess then take a cup of warm or cold carb countdown and pour it in stirring well.

It tastes amazing!
