Default the last time YOU cheated?

when was it?

For me it was saturday when I had a bite of my BFs cheesecake. I don't count that as a cheat. I called it an allowance.

Last time I really cheated was right before I re-started induction and had a Wendy's Spicy Chicken combo. Those were my fave.

I cheated today. My parents are visiting from out of state. My dad loves Dairy Queen ice cream. He took us and the kids there the other day and I didn't order anything. Today he wanted to go again. I told him we could, then he asked me if I was going to order something I told him no so he said he wouldn't go if I wasn't going to order or go with them. My dad is recovering from cancer and I kept thinking if me eating ice cream is going to make him happy then I am going to eat it and not feel quilty about it. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened to him and I didn't do this one thing. It may sound cheesy, but I am fine with my decision and like the fact it made him happy.

myagenda, my first planned cheat is going to be one of those DQ ice cream cones! Just reading your post reminded me how good they are.
You don't sound cheesy at all, I'd have done the same thing.

nope - haven't cheated yet (although I have been tempted at times), and have no plans to do so at any time in the near future. I feel great on my plan, and haven't any urge to blow or delay my progress.

I cheated on Saturday and ate about a quarter of a hot dog roll and some corn. Last time before that was a week before; I ate a tortilla (hubby's Mexican so it is a real staple in our diets. Luckily he isn't home that often because he is an OTR truck driver) and the time before that was April 3rd on my daughter's b-day...yeah, I ate the cake and I really paid for that one! It made me so ill but it tasted so good.

This past Saturday and Sunday I was at Boy Scout Leader training and I was a their mercy for food. I could have eaten the brats without the bun and skipped the baked beans and chips at lunch and passed on the dutch oven deserts at dinner, but I decided not too do that.

I am learning to live by the "Be Prepared" motto and next time I am camping with the scouts, I will be more prepared with some of my own foods, but I'm not certain that I can eat LC when I'm not responsible for the food. All I can do is watch my intake of carbs and try not to lose control.

Speaking of Dairy Queen. My DH wanted to treat the kids to dipped cones (they'd never had them) I wasn't going to get anything but they have a couple of SF bars. I got the fudgesicle. It wasn't as good as the cone would have been of course, but it was cold and chocolatly and I think it was only 7 carbs.

I just don't feel there are any cheats. There are choices. Sometimes I make better choices than others but I have gotten to the point to where I don't beat myself up when I make a not so great one. I learn from it, move on and make better choices next time. I hate to see people come in feeling guilt for making a single bad choice. A single bad food choice is not one of those life altering experiences. It should be taken with the grain of salt that it is. Ones self worth was definately not meant to be determined over a bite of cookies, cake, ice cream, or my personal favorite... baked potato. I'm glad to see that most the people on this thread don't feel bad about what they ate. It's refreshing to see.

Hi

Last night, I couldn't find lo-carb fajita wraps because most of the stores were closed by the time I got off work.

It added 15.5g per wrap (had three), but I don't know about fibre in them (whole wheat).

I am not too worried, though, Back to Induction today.

M
