Sprinkle salt, pepper, garkic powder and olive oil over the salad and toss. [/QUOTE]

I do the same thing but I use minced fresh garlic from the jars in place of the garlic powder.

Okay here is what I just made. My first attempt at a salad dressing.

i think this is an 8 oz bottle. he he

I am naming it too!

Rach's Tuscan Fun Salad Dressing
In the empty bottle put:
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon Spike No Salt Version Seasoning
1/4 teaspoon Powdered Garlic
1/4 teaspoon Summer Savory
Fill bottle half way with Red Wine Garlic Vinegar
and top with Olive Oil

Shake well and Voila!

Now, I think that this doesn't have a lot of flavor. But maybe it will get better over the next week. If not I am going to double the seasonings.
It did taste nice, but not spicy.

Hi clan

Just a simple olive oil and apple cider vinegar dressing, shaken with a teaspoon of dried mint flakes. Close your eyes and you'll think you are in the Eastern Mediterranean!

Cheers
Michael Gardner.

Lightbulb i just tried this, and oh-my-gooooooodness!

hey guys/gals!
i was inspired by this amazing south american restaraunt my friend and i ate at, and what inspired me was the sauce/dressing that came with my grilled steak salad. i changed it up a bit, but here is what i came up with and tried myself... wow, i do declare divinity has landed in my kitchen!

ingredients:
1 bunch of fresh cilantro or coriander leaves, broken up
a smaller bit of fresh flat leaf parsley (optional)
handful of raw almonds (optional)
as much fresh garlic as you can stand
juice of a lemon - 1-2 Tbls.
water - to thin
fresh black pepper
extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
*and i added a pinch of sea salt, just a dash

method:
blend everything together in food processor until you have a beautiful, colorful sauce. if you'd like it as a dressing, i add some more liquid (lemon juice, water, or EVOO) until it is suited to my taste.

i also marinated tons of meats in this and brushed it on portabello mushrooms before grilling - my mouth is watering again.... better stop

hope you try it and whip up your own, personalized version because it sure is wonderful!
