I am so glad to hear other people admit to their love/hate relationship with their own scales and to know I'm not alone. Devil.........I often call mine, cursing it and willing it to change. My fiancee finally had to have a long talk with me last night and has informed me that my scale privilages (sp?) have been revoked (seriously!!). He said that I was obsessed and way out of control (who me?:rolleyes and he was putting a stop to it right now!!! Oh, I fought it............but when I woke up at 2am this morning I knew he was right and I vowed that I wouldn't get on the scale again for two weeks......that is, once I got on it one last time 196.5, thank you !!! I'm picking up some L-Carnitine today and hope that that will help me some with this see-saw I'm on. Devil scale goodbye!!

Violet said it best when she said: "I've gotten on the scale 5 minutes later and was up two pounds. Funny....it never went back down though."

Are you still on induction??? If so, you're eating some things you should try to cut out. You shouldn't really be eating nuts or any lc products like the candies and peanut butter. Try cutting these things out for a week and see what happens. Good luck and hang in there!
