Unhappy I Am Going To Be Gone For A Week Or So
Good Morning All!

I wanted to post and let you know that I am going to be gone for about a week. My Mom passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly at age 60 yesterday from a ruptured Aeorta caused by a condition we didn't know she had - Marfan Syndrome.

I will be traveling to Seattle for a week and a few days leaving on Saturday for the funeral and to spend time with my sisters. Pretty sad after just losing my Father 7 months ago to cancer.....

We are all doing fine - she is in a much better place right now.

I'm sorry for your loss. I send prayers your way.

Marfan is a rare condition. I have a friend who nearly died from it. She was feeling wierd and decided to get checked, and a doctor went the extra mile to check her heart and realized she had an opening that was too large and was about to rupture and they immediately took her into surgery. It was very nerve wrecking. I had to keep her kids for a while cause she couldn't carry the baby for 3 months after the operation.

She's lucky to be alive.

So sorry for your loss. I pray you find comfort knowing she's watching over you from up above.
