I've been using a new program I downloaded into my computer so I don't have to log on line to use Fitday anymore, but it keeps track of my calories and everything like Fitday does, it's called Fitness Assistant. Anyway, I started using it 2 days ago, today being day 3 I'm on it. This is how many calories I've had the past 2 days and it's not any different from what I've been eating all this time:

April 27, Calories Eaten: 2467...86% Fat
April 28, Calories Eaten: 2421...75% Fat

and I inputed what I'll be having today and this the count

April 29, Calories Eaten: 3412...79% Fat

So I think it depends on your physical activities cause I eat this much all the time and have had great weight loss results....Usually my Fat count is in the 80's but I'm out of oil till the weekend.

I was having huge motivational issues until I read DANDR. The thing that did it for me was the rat study. Once I read about the rats, I was like YES! and I haven't looked back since.

If the rats can do it, I can do it

Absolutely! I know that most of my posts seem long and boring so people just skim, but I think there's a lot of info I have from a fresh reading of DANDR and a little scientific knowledge. So, without further ado, see

And a little more straight to the point,

Your absolute best souce for information on this is in Chapter 7 of DANDR, which is entirely dedicated to explaining the metabolic advantage. If you don't have the book handy, the bulk of that chapter is available on the following two pages, the latter of which has lots of newer research for you to look at as well.

The newest data (Mar 04)

A summary of Atkins WOE techniques related to the metabolic advantage.

Is that convincing?
