Question Quiznos flatbread VS Subway wraps

I just got a coupon in the mail for quiznos flatbreads (low carb) here is the info for the flat breads with and without sauce for any of you who havent heard/seen them

http://www.quiznos.com/images/low_carb_graphic.gif

....I was wondering if anyone has tried these and how they compare to subways wraps...i really like the subway wraps once in a while as a "fast food" and just wanna know how quizno's flatbread compares in taste/price etc.. (because when i was eating carbs i would pick quizno's subs over subways ANY DAY)

THANKS!

Its way, way better than Subway's, although a bit smaller. I tried the Mesquite Chicken Bacon and the Turkey Bacon Guacamole... both at one sitting... yeah yeah... I know

I thought the subway wraps were kinda small...but i guess its the person making them....if the quizno's are smaller it sounds like you would need 2

Thumbs up

Were those the net carbs for the different kinds of subs on the flat bread? If so that's not bad. Before I started LCing, I loved the chicken carbenaro(spelling??), so I bet it would be awesome on this LC flat bread. I just couldn't see the words on the link very well.

Honestly I think I liked Subway much more. Subway will add more meat without any charge whereas Quiznos charged an extra $1.00 for extra chicken. The flatbread is smaller than the subway wrap although the taste is better. It is almost like a soft fluffy whole pita (that hasn't been cut). Don't get me wrong, it was very good and I will get them again, but they were really pricey for the small amount.

I found the Subway wrap to be quite filling (and tasty with only a mild soy after-taste). I'm a big guy with a pretty big appetite, so I was surprised when the 120lb lady accross the counter said that she needed to eat 2 to fill her up!

I know my need for large portions is both physical and psychological. I can now eat 4-5 oz of meat at one sitting and feel full. The Chromium GTF also helps stabilize my blood sugar.

I saw the ad for the Quizno's LC product and they just started them in Canada. I absolutely love Quizno's subs and I thought I would never be able to eat there again!

Stop it, you're making me hungry!

Tom.

I am not particularly fond of either, but that is because they are too small.

Does anybody know the ingredients for the flat bread? I am very wary of these places that claim low carb menu items. Low carb by what definition? I keep trying to find the ingredient info and all I get is the nutritional content. Anybody know?

I had a quiznos flatbread sub today, "Traditional" with no dressing and double meat. It was a LOT of food-- I certainly wouldn't call it small! It was fantastic.

I don't know all the nutritional info, just the "net carb" count, and I have no idea if any sugar alcohols are involved. The flatbread wasn't great, but it tasted like wheat and it held the food together. Of course, there's also no way of knowing how much sugar is used in processing the deli meats, or if one kind of deli meat is not as bad as another kind. In any case, it works if you have no food with you, no way to get home to cook.

I tried a Quizno's flatbread last week and likes it a LOT. It was quite filling to me. I had the Chicken Carbonara, which is listed as 8.8 carbs or 5.8 if you order without dressing.

Check the counts of other selections here:

http://www.quiznos.com/index.asp

I also signed up on their website, and got a $1 off coupon emailed to me today. It is nice that it is only 1 1/2 blocks from my office.
