What could it be then. Just lucky that I've lost this much or what?

They're going to snitch your DNA and and try to learn how to graft your metabolism onto me.

I'm really curious about the calories you posted. I'm about your weight, but taller, and eat only about 14-1600 cal per day. I tried fat/meat fasts at 10-1200 cal and lost nothing. I've been stalled since around X-mas. I'm in awe that you can eat that many cal. and lose... I'm also confused as to why on half that my weight won't budge. Do I need to eat more???
And good luck at the Dr. I hope he says you're fine, and you just need to add a few more carbs.

=)

I don't usually count calories, I did on the 19th to be able to tell one forum member how much I was eating and it came out to that number.

Well I'm off to the doctors.

Will post results when I get them.

Cheers,

I was curious about the calories too as I periodically check mine at fitday and its always around 1200-1500 max never over that, even when I recently tried eating low glycemic foods including yummy stoneground bread.. my weight remained stable didnt lose an ounce.. yet my caloric intake should be 1997 cals per day to maintain this weight and at 1500 cals or below I should have been losing at least a pound a week. (this site tells you your daily calorie requirements - http://www.annecollins.com/calories...needs-women.htm ) I recently discovered this site and I am addicted, what a wonderful support group!

Good luck at the doctors I am sure all will be well

Doctor called me and said he is still waiting on 2 of 3 results. He didn't say which one he got back already though. Damn it. Sucks that the answering machine was the one he spoke to, I'm sure he would have told me if I had been home for the call.

Oh well, it's almost 5 pm here and my day is almost over. Tomorrow just can't get here any faster.

Thank you all again for your support. Will post as soon as I know. Should know by the time ya'll wake up tomorrow in the states.

Cheers,

My mother-in-law had Hashimoto's disease - she went from hypo to hyper in almost bi-weekly spans and as you could imagine, she went from baking cookies at 3am to sleeping 16 hours a day. That was 30 years ago when thyroid problems were missed a lot.

I had much the same problem with losing too fast. I got dizzy and I simply upped my carbs. I am quite sure I am not as active as you are, but your body has both QUICK and SLOW energy taps. You need enough glucose each day to feed the QUICK mechanism. The SLOW energy conversion comes from converting fat to available glucose.

I will pray for you! I hope your doctor can solve the puzzle.

Tom.

So did he give you any advice?
And what did he say about the quick loss. Is he advising you to slow down a bit?

Please let us know, so others with dizzy spells, fatigue etc will know what was advised and how you chanvged it, and how you feel now (or soon)

Did you up your carbs and did it affect your weight.

He said to start OWL. My doctor, thank God, is very supportive of my WOE. So I'll start OWL as of tomorrow. I gotta go grocery shopping.

I did however up my carbs since this all started and have been feeling much better. No more dizzyness or tiredness. Is tiredness even a word.

Uping my carbs has not affected my weight cause I'm down 2 pounds this morning.

I'm convinced the OoO is what is doing this to me so I'll be taking 2 drops instead of 4 daily from now on.

Thank you all again,
