Lots of people just eat pizza toppings and leave the crust.

I guess it depends... are you limiting the amount of cheese you eat? Did you go over your carb limit for the day?

Personally, if you were out with the gang, were tempted and found a low carb way to deal with it, I would call it a win.... so I guess the other questions are, do you feel like eating everythign in sight (usually a sign to me that I have blown it) ? and... do you FEEL like you have blown it??

I figure, I have to be able to live with the WOE for my lifetime, and there will be days like that. Oh yeah, the last questions... have you done this before, and if so, have you made a habit of it?

And hang in there.

hugs
Miriam

I agree!

I also think you are fine. The choices you made were good ones. Salad, buffalo wings and pizza topping. Not bad at all. As long as the wings were not coated in batter before they were fried.

Good for you!

I agree. I think you did great. I know a lot of low carbers that eat the top off of the pizza. As long as you dont eat the crust and do not eat too many pizza tops at one sitting, it is not a bad idea, especially with the other things you chose to eat with it. I say, good job !!! Stephie

Personally I don't know why pizza tops aren't a menu item. I probably do this once a month or so. I don't have problems unless I actually go for the crust. But I usually make sure I keep the rest of the day's carbs more to the lower side. Would probably just have a steak for dinner then.

My question is How many pieces would you have eaten in the past? Sounds to me like you actually did very well to just eat the topping and leave the crust behind. Good for you.

You did very well! It would have been easy to eat the whole thing, but you were obviously considering your eating plan...don't sweat it, just keep the carbs low the rest of the day!
