Question I need help! Hair issues ...

Those of you who make it a point to read my posts (hello? hello? I hear crickets chirping ...) may recall that some time ago I was beginning to lose my hair. Well, here it is, a few months later, and—I'm still losing my hair. Only now I can tell that it's thinner. I know that this will stop when my weight stabilizes (or before, if I'm really fortunate), but in the meantime, I HAVE to get it cut. So, without further ado, I am requesting that you check out this "before and after" photo I created at www.makeoversolutions.com. This is the haircut I am thinking about. (And the glasses, too.)

Anyway, I need opinions. Thanks!

Looks good to me.

I'm noticing thinning hair again, but MY problem is the grey. I started getting the pesky buggers at 25....

Looks good to me, young and flippy. Perfect for summer. I like the glasses, too.
But you have kinda wavy hair, don't you? Can you get it to lie all nice and straight?

Wow, you can tell that from the picture? Good eyes. I do, but it's only wavy, not curly, so yes, usually I can get it to go straight fairly easily. Depending on the cut, I can also scrunch it to make it curly. But I usually do straight because it's easier.

That looks nice on you. Layered cuts are the best for thin hair cuz they add body and volume. You have very nice features and facial structure, and a face framing short cut like that can really show them off.
Highlights around the bang area would look good too, if you're into coloring your hair.

That's one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me about my looks! I am going to remember that next time I am feeling less-than.

I think it's really cute and young-looking. The glasses are a good pick for your face. I have the same oval type for my (ahem!) reading glasses, and I think they are very flattering.

You do have very nice features, but unless you are Ingrid Bergman playing Joan of Arc, the "before" style is too stark, while the "after" is more playful and relaxed.

I'm sorry to hear about your hair. But I understand it's common when losing a lot of weight? That's what the threads I've read say, anyway. But hey, if it gets you to try a new hairstyle, maybe it's not so bad?

I just went back & looked again, and I must emphasize that you've made some really good choices. The glasses and hair make your face more oval, your lips fuller, and bring out your pretty eyes, especially their color.
If you were my girlfriend, I'd hold your hand and drag you to it...

Very nice! I have very fine hair too and layers really seem to thicken things up for me. The longer bangs really frame your face as well. Go for it girl! Time for a change.

Hi There,

I like your style...it looks great on you! I too have oval specs and I get lots of compliments.

I know all about thinning hair as medications I am on (a form of Chemo) means I am in a constant battle to keep mine. You've given me inspiration to do something with mine.

Keep us updated and let us know what you do!

Stephanie

I think the cut is cute...the glasses too. Sorry to hear about your hair problems but don't feel alone....my hair is falling out too! It's midway down my back and thinning fast...I'm afraid I may have to cut it soon. Some on the board have used the supplement biotin and have had results. I've started using it but can't really tell any difference so it may be an individual thing. Good luck and go for the new look!

I was going to say that I only put my hair up like that to take a picture to use on that site, but then I realized that is how I have been wearing my hair, back in a ponytail. It drives me nuts otherwise. And it does look too harsh.
