Default Just in case you ever wondered

about whether the scale will move when you get all your hair cut off. It doesn't. That would have been a quickie way to dump a half pound. Sheesh. I just don't think it is fair that I have to have this horrible hair cut and it didn't even make the scale move.

Oh no!!! I am sorry you have a bad cut. The least that could have came out of it could have been some weight.

LOL! Thanks. It is just really shorter than I am used to. I have a lot of hair, so you would think that cutting it all and shaving my legs this morning would have had an effect on the scale. Hmmmmm.

hmmm, did you leave off the mousse????

(I just thought-- that could be taken 2 ways--chocolate mousse or hair mousse)

I don't know if you are like me, but I step on the scale with one foot, then the other to see which way I weigh less.

I used to have hair down to my knees.
When that got cut to shoulder length, my head felt it!

I was kind of nervous when I got it cut even more, to earlobe length, but it turned out I like it! (It helped that with a slimmer body, my worries it would make me look like a pinhead were unfounded.) Now that spring is here, I think I'll do it again.

New hair cuts are always a shock, give yourself a few days and you might come to like it!

Hi Paleo -

New hair-cuts are always a shock, maybe you'll like it better after a few days -

I'll bet you're just building hair muscle... short hair is denser than long, fluffy fat hair.

LOL! That must be why the scale didn't move. Or maybe getting a haircut causes stress induced water gain.

Doesn't your head feel floaty? When I got my waist-length hair cut to shoulder length, lo these many years ago, it freaked me out that my head felt so much lighter. Don't think I lost any on the scale, though.

When I got my hair CUT instead of just trimmed for the first time in 13 years I ran home and hopped on the scale and got NOTHING! I went from waist length to shoulder length. I love it though

Yeah! You'd think hair would be heavy.

Awwwwwwww {hugs} poor Pale. I hate bad haircuts!! Maybe your new hairstyle will grow on you after a while. I typically hate every single cut I get but after a couple weeks when I figure out how to fix it the way I like it I end up liking about half of them at least.
