Default Liquid Splenda

I haven't seen this anywhere in the stores. But if anyone living in Virginia could give me a suggestion I would appreciate it.
I plan on making a Cheesecake for easter and it seems that ones made with liquid splenda have fewer carbs than with powdered splenda

Thanks....

I believe that in the U.S., liquid Splenda is sold only to manufacturers. It is not available to the public. I could be wrong about this, and I hope I am, but I remember hearing that somewhere.

Maybe someone will e-mail you back a direct answer.

Apparently they stopped selling it here. I did a search and found a petition to bring it back on the market. Please go to the site if interested. There is also info on carb counts with the different forms of splenda.

You can buy splenda syrup base on the Internet. Its grotesquely expensive though. I saw it for $32 for 8 ounces.

Ouch! I think for that price I will make do with the regular Splenda.

The reason that the powdered splenda has carbs is because of the bulking agent used, maltodaxtrin. In syrup form, there are a fraction of the carbs. Try using DaVinci sf syrup instead of liquid splenda. The vanilla or french vanilla blends into most recipes or use a falvor that would add to your finished product.

After finding a good outlet for the SF syrups, I don't use the powdered at all, saves the carbs for something with some substance

I swear I saw it at either Safeway or Giant, I go to both all the time. I remember seeing it and doing a double take. it was a in a bottle and I believe it said liquid form. I tend to think it was the safeway in Springfield/Burke Virginia on Old Keene Mill Road. I'll try and go by there today or tomorrow and confirm.

Maybe there is another form of Liquid sweetner? I use SF syrups, but I just figured a regular liquid Sugar sunstitute would be nice

there is liquid sweet and low. I know I saw a website I think around the cooking forums that showed something about concentrated liquid splenda, but the cost was insane.

Perhaps I will use my vanilla davincis...
Thanks for all the replies, I am glad to know that others have a hard time finding things.
The liquid splenda seems to be such a better idea than the powdered.
When you make certain dishes there are already enough carbs in them...
like a cheese cake :-)
