Default Low carb tortilla..(LATortillas Wheat tortillas)

What is the idea carb count for a tortilla.? I bought whole wheat tortillas because I like wheat. The carb count is 3 net carbs. No sugars added..How many in a week ..example..1 a day or 2 or 3 a week.. I need some variety so I am moving out of induction phase..I'm feeling really good, not really craving sweets like I did a few days ago. I'm not really hungry..I have to force myself to eat and I do..Anyway , I want to start introducing some more carbs.. I like sandwiches(not everyday)so If you could help that would be really great..

I person have these sometimes a couple times a week. You only count the net carbs anyways. As a matter of fact I had two today, for at lunch and one at dinner. I find them a nice change once in a while.

I ordered mine online. Bought a lot and just keep them frozen.

Also you should be able to find them in a health food store.

Don't rule out asking your grocer to order them for you. I have been able to get my grocer to order lots of things in the past - although lately everything I want is in the stores what with the new low carb craze

Thanks! The grocery stores in my area are getting better at carrying more LC products. Especially since I started Atkins. I haven't checked out the health food stores yet, which I should. We have a huge Hertiage Center here in town.

Do they freeze well? This would be important as I would probably only have one a week at the most.

Thanks again!

They freeze great - our local Vitamin Cottage only sells them frozen! One thing though - while they were great once in a while, I am pretty selfish about my carbs and did not find them "worth" it. My husband though loves them - makes wraps, rather than burritos, all the time.

They carry them at Kroger (King Soopers in some states) and Randalls (Safeway in some areas).

I really love the La Tortillas.

I eat them about 4-5 times a week. My new favorite is wrapping one with fresh strawberries and almond butter....yummy!
