Default low-carb yogurt?

Hi everybody--

Has anyone tried the new low-carb yogurt? I think Dannon makes it and it has only three carbs total per serving (one way they do this is by making the servings VERY small). Would this be o.k. for a CM? Or since I assume it contains AS should it best be left as a RM only? Or maybe try it and see?

I've tried it, Cathos--and it really is good, isn't it? But--Thanks to Flys737's, I also found Hood Carb Countdown yogurt (Splenda sweetened and with active cultures) which is still only 4g carbs, and 1.5g fat. It's delicious, and it's a full sized cup.. Woo-hoo!!! Technically, you should probably save it for rm... Sometimes I have one for cm though--on those days when I can't face another egg.. I can't honestly say whether it's slowed down my loss or not (probably has--but I only do it about 2-3 times per month).. I've been bouncing with the same old 2-3 pounds for quite a while now--and I'm not sure exactly what the reason is... HTH...

Thanks for the tip about Hood's yogurt. I couldn't find it at the store today (found Hood's lo carb milk though) but will keep looking. I did buy Dannon's peaches and cream lo carb yogurt. I know what you mean about staring at one more egg some mornings. Today I had a chef's salad for breakfast and it really hit the spot.

Seems like the closer I get to goal the slower I lose! And unlike the rest of the world, I find it easy to lose weight in the winter- it's the summer I pack on pounds. I'm also perky and cheerful in the winter and kind of moody and depressed in the summer (maybe instead of SAD I have DAS? Don't Appreciate Summer?) Anyway, maybe you're battling those same few pounds due to the winter thing and as the temperatures rise, those stubborn few will magically disappear! Sending good thoughts your way in any event--

Cathy

I like yogurt a ton. I found though that yogur,t even LC yogurt, and the LC milk at a CM would make me starving long before the next CM, regardless of what else I had in the meal. Just test it first and see how your body reacts.

Cathos--Do you have Publix in VA? My grandson lives in W V, and I think they have them there. Anyway--that's the only place that I've found the Hood so far (and I've checked 3 different WMarts and 2 Krogers).. Snagged their last 2 cups--so I guess I'll have to talk to the manager, if I want to keep it coming.. Also--I found Blue Bunny Carb Count today--5g per cup, but the fat is higher... Haven't tried it yet.. Have you tried adding a couple of fresh berries to your yogurt cup? Oh my goodness--it's the best!!! I had it for rm dessert last night, and was in heaven.. (LadyBelle--can you tell that I like it a ton, too?)..
I think the getting close to goal thing is probably right.. It's hard to stop bouncing, but I MEAN to do it, or else!!! Only two lousy pounds, but they seem to be the hardest two.... I've been wondering if I am somehow subconciously sabotaging myself lately? I'm going to keep plugging away at it though--it's got to happen sometime... And--sending those good wishes right back at ya'...
