Default Which is Better? Carbolite PB Cups or Atkins Endulge PB Cups

I am about to go out and buy a few things and I need to get an idea on how the Carbolite PB cups taste. I have tried the Atkins Endulge PB cups and they are okay. The only reason I am considering the Carbolite version of the PB cups is because they cost less. Another thing, I am really growing tired of handing GNC my money. The salespeople always trying to bait you into buying "suspect" low carb products since they know you are a consumer of such. I can't think of how many times they have personally walked me to the low carb section and tried to push the low carb pasta and various other items. Since I gave up bread 10 months ago, pasta doesn't appeal to me at all. Truthfully, I haven't seen anyone buying the pastas or the Keto cereals there. I drop by about every other day to grab a low carb bar for lunch. Anyway, anyone tried both PB cup brands and have a favorite. Thanks!!

Well, I've had the Atkins Endulge PB cups and I thought they tasted icky. I did have the Atkins reg. chocolate bar though, and it was really good! The only PB cups I've had, that I thought were really good, are the Hershey ones. I have not had the Carbolite brand.

I bought the carbolite ones during a trip to the US and found them much better than the Endulge ones.

That is so true about GNC! My husband loves the Russell Stover peanut butter cups - you can get the sugar free ones that cost less than the low carb ones by check the label. The only food things I buy at GNC are the Flaxomeal Nutrageous which is wonderful with heavy cream (low carbs, but high calories so I don't do it too often) and the Miracle Sweet (Xylitol) which I use in the cheesecake recipe.

Good luck - you might also try making your own peanut butter cups - I think there is a recipe in the kitchen forum - it would probably taste great and cost less in the long run!

I have tried the Carbolite Peanut Butter Cups and I think they are great. I have not made my own. I probably should if I am going to eat them. The Carbolite ones are 96 cents at Walmart here. Not too bad but could add up.

carbolite are VERY good. i won't even eat the atkins anymore. they seem a bit thicker and you can buy them in a box of five at walmart and save some $$ opposed to buying individually

I like the Russel Stovers pb cups...but my favorite so far are the ones made from a recipe in the kitchen forum...and they are MUCH cheaper than buying them. They're easy and quick to make...you should give it a try.

Definetly make your own. Cheaper and no sugar alcohols that way.

The endulge my son could handle, but the carbolite ones made for a messy accident. I can't go near any sugar alcohols anymore without adverse effects.

Some of the sugar alcohols are absorbed, and they do contribute calories. How much is absorbed depends on the type. Makeing your own using splenda (which does have trace carbs from the fillers) or stevia (pure extract has 0 carbs) is a much safer way to play it.
