Default Hooray! A break from eggs & bacon

I was getting very bored with the same eggs and bacon every morning, so this morning tried the mock danish with cinnamon and splenda. YUMMY!!! I can't wait to try some of the other variations now.
My question is ...........
Do you guys think that if you eat this every day it would be a problem? For some reason I tend to think something this good can't be good for me every day??????
What do ya think?

I'm going to have to try that. Sometimes I think I could go the rest of my life without ever eating another egg, and be happy about it.

2 oz cream cheese(soften in micro)
1 egg
1 tbls splenda
1 tsp lemon concentrate
1/2 tsp vanilla

Mix softened cream cheese and egg. Add remaining ingredients. Microwave on high for 2 minutes

There are alot of variations.......I used 3 oz cream cheese and instead of lemon I used cinnamon.
Some have suggested pumpkin & pumpkin pie spice, or cocoa(like a brownie dish)
I cooked mine in a custard dish and it is sooo yummy. I bet you could even make a pancake out of this with SF syrup!
Try it, you'll love it

I cut the carbs by using 3/4 tbsp of Divinci vanilla syrup instead of splenda and vanilla extract. Yum

I can't wait to try it!
Don't see why it would cause any problems. Looks very low in carbs. I'll probably try the DaVinci syrup as a substitute too.

Becareful! Those who stall on cheese this can stall you after a bit. It can also cause cravings. Take it from someone who learned this!

I read this thread just before I made breakfast.

I tried the variation with cocoa instead of lemon and I thought it was great. Not so sweet that it causes cravings, but the texture made it very satisfying.

Thanks for posting the recipe! I will be using this in my breakfast rotation for sure.

Sounds pretty good, I have this recipe at home and have never ever made it, perhaps I will tomorrow as I have some davincis syrup....

I do think that it is important to worry about eating something everyday, because it may stall you!!!

Also...Isn't this WOE amazing that we can eat things that have flavor, taste good and we aren't hungry all the time and still lose weight????

BE CAREFUL! Those who are new on induction need to really stick faithfully to the list in the Atkins book - getting your carbs from veggies, etc....a lot of these "treats" can stall your weightloss...once on OWL, then as a once in a while treat it would be ok.

I believe all these ingredients are allowed on induction. The original method to making it anyway. With splenda and all.

did you know you can have french toast? sara lee has great new low carb bread out, at 9g per slice, and you can use a regular 'ol egg and make french toast out of it. that is, if you're not like me and can't handle having bread in the house! but i keep it every once in awhile and it's sooo good, such a break from scrambled eggs, and so filling. just make sure to get sara lee's low carb bread, it has only like, 1g of sugar in it, and like i said, 9 g of carbs. it's good for a treat every now and then.

hope this helps!
