But that's the way it's supposed to be. Sensible eating most of the time, but allowances made for special occasions. The Eades call them 'feast days'. As much as I believe this is the healthy way to eat, I don't for one minute intend to never, ever have a piece of birthday cake again.

Of course, we have to be careful that those special occasions don't set off a longer period of poor eating. And we need to watch out that there aren't too many 'special' occasions.

It's no problem as long as the special occasions are things like the Red Sox winning the World Series.
