Default Question for those who have tried Atkins Morning Start Bars

I saw these yesterday and did not want to give that much for 5 bars until I had some opinions. Searched the forums, found some comments on them but none that really answered what I wanted to know. 1. Does the cinnamon bun one remind you or taste anything like cinnamon rolls? 2. Does the blueberry muffin one taste like blueberry muffins? 3. Are they chewy, or are they dough like?
4. When using these as a meal just 1-2 days a week, did they stall you? 5. Where's the cheapest place you have found to buy them, either a store or online?

TIA for any help.

Ok, I can't answer all of your questions, as i have never had the blueberry bar, but i have had the cinnamon and apple crisp. the cinnamon does indeed taste very cinnamon-y, but keep in mind that the texture is not like that of a cinnamon bun, obviously. So, you get the taste (somewhat) but the texture is...hmm how to describe it...i guess it's thick, kinda chewey...i usually have to have coffee or other drink around to help it down. i especially like the outside "yogurt" coating, it reminds me exactly of the same coating used on yogurt covered raisins, which were a fave of mine pre-LC. The apple beats the cinnamon hands down IMO. It is crunchy and has bits of apple in it. I would love to try the chocolate chip and strawberry bars, but i refuse to pay over $6.00 a box. I get the cinnamon and apple from Wal-MArt...they were recently on sale for around $4.50, I believe the regular price is about $5.00. They do not stall me at all, even when i have 1 a day. i hope this helps and post more questions if needed!!!

I have only tried the cinnamon and apple crisp... these are the only two that are widely offered in stores at the moment. Wish they'd expand the other 3 flavors!!

Anyway... Mad's description is pretty accurate. The apple crisp taste like artificial apple to me... definitely prefer the cinnamon...

I have had the cinnamon and I really really liked them a lot!!! MadCabbits description is right on the money. Speaking of money they are a litte costly but otherwise I'd buy them all the time for breakfast. I haven't tried the other kinds yet.

I too prefer the cinnamon over the apple. I find them more filling -espeically if you have a drink with it, and a great change from all the chocolate varieties. The apple is a "crispy" bar made with the soy crisps (sort of like rice krispies). I pay about $5 at a local grocery but closer to $6 at Walmart.

does anyone know the nutritional info for a bar? ie. calories, fats, protein, and of course, carbs? Do they have sugar alcohols?

I liked the chocolate chip Morning Start bar, didn't care for the other flavors much. I found some cinnamon roll cereal bars by CarboRite at Walmart for $3.86 a box, they taste good, actually tastes like what it says it is.
