Default The Low Carb Gourmet!

Wow Karen!,

Your bookcover is great. You did what Ive been wanting to do, but in a lower scale. My friends and family press me to open a diner for just low carbing. The menu would change everyday. I would like to be open for Lunch and brunch only. So late lc could pickup dinner. I want the place to be very small. Just enough for lunchers and brunchers to take a fast time out an know they were low carbing all the way.

We're almost into spring, shouldn't your book be out? I'll check at Barnes an Nobles website today. Oh Im so proud of our founder "You Karen." You should be the Mrs. Atkins...

Again thank you most sincerely,
Amazin77

P.s. I hope we don't lose you from this website, because you will have book signing. Will you come to California?

Hello Amazin77!

The book will be out in the fall and I know that San Francisco and NYC are part of the tour. I periodically get lost from the website when duty or vacations call...but I always come back.

Have you ever run a restaurant before? A small restaurant will consume your whole life. But if it's what you love to do, there's nothing like it.

Karen

Karen,
I've never ran a restaurant, only helped in opening a restaurant and doing the bookkeeping end. Though I did see how it would consume ones life even if I was shooting for a parttime restaurant. 4-5 hours cafe style. Maybe that's why I haven't strongly persued as of yet. Im trying to keep my daughter who is 19yrs. old to make it through college. Luckly I have one child to worry about.

Thanks for the input...

Amazin77
