I think you can lose hair on any diet, not just on lc. It's due to the weight loss which puts stress on the body. It doesn't happen to everybody, but for a number of people, they will temporarily shed a lot of hair. I am going through the same thing. Hair was ok the first 3 months of dieting, then it started shedding.
