I've been telling friends and family members that after having been involved in an intense exercise program for the past 7 months, my body needs it just as it needs food and water. I've tried taking a day off during the week and find that until I do some form of exercise I feel pretty much like crap.
The bottom line is that it's tough starting an exercise program because your mind is telling you it's so much easier just to stay in bed that extra hour or two but after a few weeks of regular exercise you begin to wonder how you ever made it through a day without it.
