good evening. just checking in before i sign off for the night.
by the way, i also check the day befores thread to see what i missed before reading the current days.
dawn--i know they make some sort of corn starch/flour like substitute that is low carb..thick, not thin...or something like that. i happen to like my stews runny...
for dinner tonight i tried out the "lowcarb" alfredo sauce. by ragu. (it was on sale at the store cheaper then the regular stuff) anyway it was good, and the bf and kids liked it also.
here is what i did...
cut up chicken breasts and cook in olive oil. then drain
cut up some veggies (i used carrots, broccoli, and water chestnuts...it was actually a frozen veggie mix that i added some more broccoli to)
spray 9x13 dish with some non stick agent.
put chicken and veggies in pan
pour jar of alfredo over top of chicken and veggies
sprinkle about 2 handfuls of shredded cheese over top of that.
cook at 350 for 30 min or untill hot and melty
have a great saturday night!!!
