Default Dateline-Friday night

I don't know if there is already a thread on this (looked but didn't see one) but
Dateline is suppossed to have Dr. Atkins wife on there tomorrow night. It's also suppossed to show his last interview. It's listed as 2 hours. Does anyone know if the full 2 hours are on Dr. Atkins and Atkins alone?

According to TV Guide Online, there's at least 1 other story:

"A report on the Atkins diet and controversies surrounding it includes an interview with Dr. Robert Atkins, taped not long before his death; an investigation into the crucifixion of Jesus and the forces that triggered it. Stone Phillips reports."

I saw part of the Dateline special on the TODAY show this morning and it showed Dr. Atkins the day before he died and he certainly looked like a healthy 72 year old to me. It was rather sad as it was his last interview.

I'm going to watch both stories. I look at the boards here, and so many people have done so well on his diet! I wonder what research would find if they questioned all the losers on these boards? It wouldn't be a controlled study, but it would be a tribute to Dr. Atkins!

No Dateline show here tonight. Our local NBC station is broadcasting the Blazer basketball game.

I saw most of the Low-Carb/Atkins portion of Dateline tonight. Dr. Atkins definitely was not excessively overweight - the interviewer even commented that he was a little big, but by no means obese. He looked pretty good for a man in his seventies.

Default Dateline Friday, Feb.20

I thought the Dateline special on low carb diets was great! It finally set some things straight about this WOE that most people don't believe (like lowering blood sugar and cholesterol). I was watching closely through the whole thing for someone to really put it down, but there were even some doctor's who stated that it was effective and not dangerous. All the way to the end when in his last sentence he said...the verdict is still not in on the Atkins diet....until then it is agreed that the best way to lose weight is to COUNT CALORIES!!!!! I fell on the floor right then !! JEEZ!!!!
