Talking Yet another reason to choose LC

I just returned from my bi annual dental cleaning. They were short staffed so my dentist did the cleaning, what little there was to do. He knows I have always had good gums and very little plaque, but this time he asked me if I had been doing anything different. Apparently I had the "healthiest set of gums he's seen in a long time". No more sugar is what I told him. Apparently not only is sugar a component in tooth decay, but the bacteria that causes plaque and gum disease just love it. Something else to look forward to while LCing....
