Default Whey Gourmet?

Hi there,

I am wondering if anyone has tried the Whey Gourment Shakes? I've had a couple sample packs and they were great. Made in the Lower Mainland somewhere...Just wondering if its worth the investment in a whole bucket of the stuff. Any feedback or suggestions would be great!

Seem pretty good in that they are pretty low carb...

Talk to you soon

Whey Gourmet is excellent stuff. The arctic cappucino is excellent - I add a shot of espresso in the morning, yum! I also like the dark chocolate mousse, I find chocolate is a good flavour to fake, the simulated fruit varieties taste like chemicals to me.

The best thing about Whey Gourmet is that it thickens really well with just water. A lot of other whey powders tend to be pretty watery.

I get mine from a shop called Reflex, 1685 Chestnut Street, right below Ron Zalko's in Kits. Super-nice folks although it's a bit intimidating going in the first few times. They tend to do a good job stocking other low-card items, and are postitive about the low-carb lifestyle.

I know you're in Nanaimo, but Nutraways on Lonsdale in North Van - between 13th and 14th - has a sale on the big bucket of Whey Gourmet for $69.99.

Thanks for the insight!!

I've been made the shakes a couple times with a tbsp or 2 of heavy cream and water...and were pretty yummy..

Do you think you can use this type of protien powder in cooking?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!~

One thing about Whey gourmet is the flavour. Some are great, and some are terrible.

Make sure the one you get is from the flavour you sampled, and liked
