Default Anything wrong with this Chili on induction?

So I whipped up a nice little chili:

2lbs Ground beef
2tsp Cumin
2tsp Crushed Oregano
3tsp Pepper
5tsp Chili Powder

1 Onion
4 Cloves Garlic
1 14oz can Chopped Tomatos

I like larger servings so I slpit it into three meals. What could possibly be wrong with this on induction with a dollop of sour cream and some grated cheese on top?

Thoughts?

It looks ok. Onions and tomatoes are limited to 1 cup total per day on induction but split into 3 meals, that looks like less than a cup I think.

The only carby ingredients are the onions and the tomatoes but I would estimate your whole recipe is below 30 carbs. A scant couple more with the sour cream and cheese. Go for it!

Hi Bosco!

I plugged your recipe into fitday and came up with:

Total calories: 2162
Total grams fat: 146
Saturated: 55
Poly: 8
Mono: 63
Carbs: 45
Fiber: 18
Protein: 170

So...dividing that into 3 servings we get (per serving):

Calories: 721
Total grams fat: 49
Carbs: 15
Fiber: 6
Net carbs per serving: 9

This recipe may work well for OWL, but that's nearly half your daily carb allowance for induction and we haven't included the carbs from any cheese or sour cream you might add...a little high IMO.

I did....after subtracting the fiber, we get 9 grams of carb per serving before adding any sour cream or cheese.

It should be fine if split into more servings.

Maybe eat it with something else if you are still hungry?
