Weeeelllll, you're supposed to stay away from caffeine. But if the choice is Diet Coke or a box of pasta, have the Diet Coke.
It might be a good idea to stock up on some LC approved drinks tomorrow--Diet Rite or Fruit2O, green tea.

Good luck! You can do it!!!! The first couple days are the hardest.

thanks for the advice.. I WISH we could get that stuff here, I am in Edmonton and have searched high and low for this kind of thing...the closest I could find was davinci's syrup for club soda....and I haven't bought it becuase I wasn't really a 100% sure if I could have it...I am not sure what my problem is today - I have been on Atkins for 14 days now, and have not had a problem with missing pop at all. I am thinking that becuase I have really increased my excersize that maybe I am not eating enough "good" food that my cravings are starting up again- but I am trying to stick to the plan and amounts without any wavering...and I haven't slipped once in two weeks - not sure what is the cause today!....

you know, maybe this typing does soemthing, because I am not having that intenseness of craving I was about 5 minutes ago..think I will just sit here at the computer until it goes completely away....

The Sugar free DaVincci is better then a coke. It is splenda sweetened and has no caffine. I use DaVincci for my coffee, tea, cooking all kinds of things.

Hang in there and make sur eot have a clean induciton. Stay away from Lc products and sweets. The cravings really do go away,

You can get caffiene free Diet Coke in Canada so I'd try that. Ideally we'd find something sweetened with something other than aspartame but that's not always easy here in Canada....unless you live close to the border like I do and can make a run to the states. So best bet for now if you must have carbonation is to go with caffiene free.

Wishing you continued success!
