Exclamation You GO GIRL!

I'd like to welcome you to TD. I was just like you. I never would tell my husband that I had 100 pounds to lose!!! I didn't want him knowing it was that bad.

Well, I finally did tell him. My thinking is he knew already. He's so supportive and loving though. THANK GOODNESS! I guess you could say I waited until I knew he would be positive about it.

You are doing FANTASTIC though. 6 POUNDS IS GREAT! Congratulations!

Welcome and Congrats on your 6lb loss!

I was in the same boat. Until DH was looking over my shoulder one night and asked what the series of numbers on the left meant. DH was really good about it though - he didn't say anything and has been extremely supportive! As far as anybody else goes - they don't have a clue just exactly HOW overweight I am....and they won't know until I get to my goal.

Good luck!!

I can't say just how depressed I was to realize that I qualified for the TDC. I don't say that to offend anyone, but I say it so you know you aren't alone. I was horrified and upset. But "they" say, that you most often achieve major changes in your life when you're mad or excited.

I used to be mad... mostly at myself (but it got me to do something about it). But now I'm excited, because I want to know what I look like as a thin person. I've never been thin, and I want to see it.

Hi Weave and welcome to the TDC. I'm just like you and many others. The only people in the world who know my true weight are the folks right here and my doctor! WTG on the loss so far! It's a very encouraging start!

A big welcome Weave!!!

Our stats are about the same and I have come a long way -- So Can You!!!

My husband knows I have 130 pounds to lose and he knows I was quite fat and he knows what my original WW goal was so he should be able to guess my starting weight but he doesn't -- he keeps asking!! and coy person that I am, won't tell him!! I don't think he knows his way to this site, so the exact numbers will remain a mystery.

Be sure to share your ups and downs with us -- we are certainly here on the same road as you are and more than happy to be your travelmate along the way!
