Thats true, and its also more true for protein. Its called the thermic effect of food. That is why studies show that 2300 calories on an LC diet is the same as 2000 calories on a low fat diet in terms of weight loss. But don't kid anyone, eating 2000 calories of chicken breast will make you lose faster than 3000 calories of chicken breast. The energy equation is simple and finite physics.

I'm confused. Why would you want your calories UP?

I noticed on your fit-day thing it was showing over 58 carbs for your day -- I'd never lose Anything if I were eating that many carbs.

Maybe you should consider lowering the carbs instead of raising the calories?
