Default How did everyone do on Superbowl Sunday?

I just have to brag! I went to a big party with tons and tons of food. I, myself, brought both cookies AND veggies with a low carb dip. Well, I think I did really good! I wound up only eating the things I felt were fairly low carb. I had:
deviled eggs
meatballs (a little sauce on them)
veggies and dip
crab dip with veggies (no bread!!!!)
peanuts and some pistachios
Michelob Ultra (2) and 1 glass of wine

It sounds like a lot but it was spread over 6 hours so not too bad!
How did everyone else do???

Congratulations! I haven't tested my reserve against any parties yet, but I can respect the effort you put into it. Hope you had fun, too.

Myself, I'm lucky enough that I have no Superbowl Sunday obligations yet. Maybe if my current BF and I tie the knot one day, I might have to, though (big football fan, him...I prefer basketball if I must watch something, but I'd rather not watch TV--sports or no--at all).

However I did spend today reading forums and found this fun idea. Maybe I should try it on a Superbowl Sunday sometime! >;þ

I picked up a salad from Wendy's (everyone else did Pizza and subs). Diet soda. Some SF Russel Stover Mint Patties. Overall, I feel pretty good about tonight.

YEAH PATRIOTS!

I went to a birthday/superbowl party. The had everything from pastries to finger sandwiches , sodas, chips and dips and oh yeah.... 2 different cakes!

How did I make it thru? I have no idea. I felt a bit sad but not as desperate as I used to on other diets. I never have deprived myself at a special event. But this wasnt that bad. I did have 5 gummy fruits called sour citrus slices by carbolite. When I got home at around midnite I made myself a decaf instant coffee with cream and 3 spendas. It was splendid.

I'm proud of myself.

Had my SIL over (she brought Parmesan chicken wings) and we also had pork rinds with salsa and another dip made from cream cheese and salsa, shrimp, pepperoni chips and CarbSmart ice cream for those that wanted it.
We also had a steak dinner with broccoli before kickoff and during the game, SIL had a Michelob Ultra.

I confess during the game I had a few doritos. I ate them, they tasted good, now I move on. Otherwise I had 1 rum and diet pepsi vanilla, a ham / cheese sammy on 1 pc of low carb bread, a baby greens salad and a few nuts.

Red face not so good

Well, I ate a slice of pizza- crust and all. Not real happy, but this a way of life and I am back on tract. I know me, and I know I cannot play with this program like that. I failed to plan and thats what happens when you get hungry.

Well, I drank way too much diet soda and not nearly enough water, but other than that it was a breeze. Chili and hot wings — does it get any better?

I am Cheesed Out, also too many Nuts!
Overall it was a good night, ate some pizza toppings, buffalo wings, grilled shrimp and a lot of salad with blue cheese. Made the Mock Mac & Cheese from the forum and it was very good, also gave the vegetarians at the party something to eat too.

I also ate some sugarfree ice cream and other low carb treats.

My big downfall was I ate some baked beans and (2) small soft corn tortillias with some taco fillings.

Overall it was a good party and I was happy, dont want to get on the scale after an all day food fest.

I want to tell everyone, Waist Watcher Diet Soda Rocks!!!

Have a great day peeps!

I got real lucky, went over to a friend's house and they are just starting Atkins to lose weight for their wedding. They are going a little overboard but it suited me fine for the Superbowl, the menu:

T-Bone steak
Grilled Chicken
Chicken Wings
Bratwurst
Scallops
Salad
Coleslaw
Broccoli

Went to a Super Bowl party and did great. Granted, I took Cincinatti-style chili [recipe in Soups/Sauces at Kitchen forum] and Caesar salad to the party (enough to share of both) so I knew what I'd be eating. Drank Dite Rite and water.
