Default Measurement Success

Since I dropped under 300, I have stalled around 298 or so. I attribute this to too much Vodka and the fact that I have started walking for about an hour daily. I think its causing me to retain water to some degree, which I am fine with. The vodka on the other hand has to go. I just can't drink like I'm 21 anymore, I have to learn to live with that.

Anyway, my wife was commenting on how slim I look and how well (or not to well, as in getting baggy) my cloths are fitting me. So I said lets measure and see.

Now I am still to embarrassed to mention what the exact measurements are but the 3 measurements I take about once a month have changed somewhat dramatically.

Thigh - 7 inches gone
Chest - 5 inches gone
Belly - 3 inches gone

I am pretty happy about this. My wife went out and bought me new boxer shorts (that's right ladies I like the freedom :devil a couple days ago and she got one size down from what I usually wear. They fit so well that I am considering throwing out my old ones. I am totally jazzed up right now and fill there is no way I will fail this time.

When I get down to 250 or so, Im going to post some pics....

Hey, I think you are doing just fine! Those inches are melting away, good for you to take measurements. From my experience I can tell you most people lose either inches or pounds.....rarely both at the same time.
Be prepared for the fact that your body will need breaks in losing weight....it is healthy and normal....

Just keep on fighting

Good luck

Alina

Great loss! It is normal to slow down at some point but you may find that the vodka has to go now! Hang in there - Orchid

Foody,

No idea. It's a avatar from an other site that I use. Kinda looks like a menacing eye.

That's a nice loss of inches.....

My starting weight was similar to yours and my largest inch loss was around my waist.........6 inches! Also 1-1/2" around the neck. My face and neck look much better now......

Keep up the good work.......

Exciting isn't it!!!!
