Red face It's too cold to go out. I'm broke. Only enough for snack machine..HELP!!!

I can't read the labels from the way they are sitting in the machine...anyone know the carb count of either of the following:

Chef Boyardee - Beef Stew
Hornel - Vegatable Soup

Everything else is chips or full of sugar!

I don't know the carb counts, but....

Any peanuts in the machine? That's good hold-over.

PS.....www.fitday.com says that 1 cup of Beef Stew is 19 grams of carbs.

I'm not sure about the counts, but you will probably be okay if you pick the good bits (meat and veggies) out of the liquid, which is almost sure to have starchy thickeners in it. The liquid won't fill you up any more than water anyway. I would pick whichever has more meat and veggies (probably the beef stew).

DramaChick (funny name)

I have canned stews at home for hubby - generally they are about 20 to 30 grams for the entire can. Like someone else mentioned, you can pick around the potatos and carrots and you may get only about 10 grams. Good luck to ya!

Thanks guys! I went ahead and played it safe and got (ICK!) pork rinds. They aren't exactly my idea of a 'lunch' but it will hold me over until I get home if I drink lots of water!!!

If anyone else is going out you could have them get you something.
