Default Remember snow cream??

My grandma used to make snow cream for us on those wonderful days when school was called off due to a heavy snowstorm. I just remember enjoying it and that it was magical. I just wish I remember the recipe. I feel it wasn't anything more than snow, cream, vanilla and sugar (Splenda in our case )!

Anyway, anyone out there know the recipe?? It's the season!!

Thanks!!

Kathy

Thumbs up Thank You Sally!!

from Princesspp:

SNOW CREAM

Ingredients
1/2 cup Sugar (substitute with Splenda or legal sweetener)
1 cup Cream
2 teaspoons Vanilla
Snow (newly fallen)

Add sugar to cream, and flavor highly with vanilla
or lemon; if lemon juice is used, more sugar will
be required.

Stir in newly-fallen snow until thick
as ice-cream, and any kind of fruit juice may
be used instead of cream. In either case the snow
must not be added until just before serving.

Never fear -- when it comes to anything to do with Ice cream .. I'll find it !
