Question Initially can you lose inches and not pounds

I'm three weeks in and down very few lbs, but feel I have lost inches by way clothes feel...did this happen to anyone else? If I don't see results soon I'm gonna give up

This can defiantely happen, especially if you are doing exercises. Dont get discouraged and hang in there, I would be worried if weight was going down and clothes still felt the same. Maybe you can post a typical days menu so everyone can see if we canfind a problem.

baggier clothes? that's results! i think clothes are more accurate than scales!

GoBuckeyes,

I've been on atkins for 4 wks now, started exercising the same day I started atkins. If I went by the scale, I'd cut my wrists by now - but my clothes feel wonderfully BIG - I noticed myself hickin' my pants up all weekend (I can't keep them up)... it would be nice to see some results with the scale and, that's was my biggest hurdle to get over this 1st month, but now I can feel it & the scale doesn't do justice on this plan. I figure if I stick to the book, eat all natural foods, tons of water & exercise - it has to come off!!!! and it has.

Give yourself 6 weeks before deciding anything - you may be amazed!


And by the way... "GO BLUE!!!!!" from the Wolverine State!
