Better than Burger King
Frankly, the changes at Burger King and most other fast food places don't do a thing for me. A burger is a burger and if I can't have it with a bun, then I'd rather just not have it because frankly, substituting lettuce leaves for bread is unappealing to me and looks silly. I tried it once and the burer was silipping and sliding all over the place and a big mess. I would much rather have a nice salad like Wendy's makes and skip the dressing if I am going to eat fast food. Now if Arby's ever gets the hint and starts selling piles of their sliced beef on a plate with a side salad, I would go for that!
But better than fast food altogether is the creative ways that some restuarant chefs have decided to add low carb fare to their menus. Of course at $69 a meal, eating at some of these restaurants would be a once a year event for most of us, but I like to see what these chefs are doing and then try to replicate it at home.
