Well I jumped in and did my first session this morning. 25 minutes of brisk walk, with slower walking and stretching before and after to warm up/cool down.
Confession: it was *really* hard to get started this morning
That's always been my weakness with exercising - the actual get up and go. So this morning when I woke up and didn't want to go, I told myself to at least get up and go lie on the couch. Once I was in the living room, I figured I'd change into my track suit, and then lay down... I kept talking myself through the steps, and ended up out the door
I had laid everything I'd need out the night before so I couldn't use that for an excuse.
Feeling great afterwards... a much more energetic and alert start to my day than usual. Yay
I always do good on the water front - probably 5+ L a day almost every day, but I need a new water bottle. Been re-using disposable bottles, but after all the stuff in the media, it's probably time for me to get a real waterbottle. Not a fan of those sport type though... thinking more something from Mtn Equip Coop. Plan for the weekend
