A lot of restaurants here are serving what they call a "Chopped Salad", and it's just as you described. All of the ingredients are cut into tiny pieces, smaller than bite-sized, and all tossed together. I like it! As you said, all the juices of the veggies blend together, and make it different tasting than your regular bowl of veggies. I think it would a lot of work to do at home, but I sure enjoy having one now and then when I go out.
