I beleive there is a thread here regarding breastfeeding, from the main page. AS well it is addressed in the book to I think? Your profile says you've read it, so check it again. Also go to the Atkins site and look it up, or you can e'mail them if you wanted the most updated info, But be sure to find out before you start, as baby's health is more important right now. :>)

Atkins recomends having maintanance level carbs while breastfeeding and not going into ketosis. You can still lose weight without being in ketosis.

While breastfeeding (this is without supplimenting) you need 700 more calories a day. That is even more then while pregnant. If you cut out processed sugars and flours, and follow the Atkins diet at maintanance carbs getting those carbs from veggies, fresh fruits, nuts, dairy such as yogurt and cottage cheese, whole grains and so on, I bet the weight will slowly start to come off.

Start exercising with her as well. Load her into the stoller bundled up and take a walk. There are also books specificly on exercises to do with babys where you use thier weight as resistance and they think its a game.

Have unprocessed whole foods, such as meats, veggies and fruits, to not only lose weight but get the best nutition for you and baby.

You might also check out the LC parents forum on this bored as it has alot of threads about pregnancy and breastfeeding.
