Talking Quotes!

I noticed that alot of people enjoy putting quotes in their sig..
I thought it may be fun to start a thread with everyones favorites..
I kinda like to collect them... I think they should be inspirational, motivational or weightloss inspired..[FONT=Tahoma]
I'll start

My fav:

"To the world you are but one person, but to one person you are the world."

The one in my sig right now.

...and the former one: "There are no elevators to success. You have to take the stairs."

It doesn't have to do with dieting but I have this quote taped to my monitor at work

"Of course I don't look busy ... I did it right the first time".

And a personal favorite:
"A day may come, when the courage of women fails.
This is not that day"

"My darling girl, when are you going to understand that being normal is not neccessarily a virtue? It rather denotes a lack of courage".

What a great fun thread! I copied these quotes and saved them in a word document. I love all of them. My favorite quote is below from Will Rogers. I had to have my dog put to sleep before Thanksgiving and he was 17. No condolences are neccessary - it has been very difficult but everyday was a gift and I had 17 years with him! I love the quote about the dogs though because I hope to see him again someday! ORchid

Kristine--Joyce Meyer is a real favorite around here. Love people with good old "horse sense"!!! Every time I see her, though--I can't help but think of Josephine the plumber...

Another one that has nothing to do with healthier eating etc., but a favorite and so true:

"Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds."

- Bob Marley, "Redemption Song"

and

"No one can make you feel inferior without your permission."

- Eleanor Roosevelt
