EVERY time I cheat, I get bad gas, and smelly, even *I* can't stand being around me... so yes... I guess it reacts inside. WHICH tells me this is somethign I shouldnt' be eating if I'm having such an adverse effect from it.

ugh ugh ugh.

But, thank you... it's comforting to know I'm not the only one!

Blessings!

I think this WOE has built in consequences!
Not just the possible stall or gain in weight but sometimes painful gas - from one or both ends!!!! Its absolutely enough to make you think twice next time (at least it is for me!)
Hope your 'feeling better' soon!!

I get very gassy and bloated when I eat carbs....its my body telling me ...what the heck are you doing!! Not pleasant...and a good reason NOT to eat those carbs.

I peronally have not had this happen, it's more the Malitol that gets me! But, my friend at work ate carbs all through the Holidays and she said she was even making herself sick from the smell!!!

I don't know, what's worse? Anal leakage or smurf tails?
I vote for anal leakage.

Wow! I guess I'm going to have to rethink having Pina Coladas on my upcoming cruise! Hubby is taking me on my first real vacation ever (South Caribbean cruise) for my b-day and I planned on eating low-carb 99% of the time but indulging in some yummy tropical drinks. I really don't want to feel awful for my trip (or embarass myself) so maybe I'll skip them as well.

Any fun I miss out by skipping those high-carb treats will definately be offset if I come back from my trip no heavier than when I left! Can you imagine? Cruising without gaining?

I'm not counting on it but I'll definately avoid the desserts, sweet drinks, and breads so hopefully I won't gain too much. I've worked so hard to lose so far, I don't want to blow it in 1 week!
