Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Matt and im 22. When i was in 11th grade i weighed 370 pounds, and about last summer i got down to 190. I lost all the weight on my own, mostly by not eating. After that my body wouldnt seem to let me loose any more weight. I had surgery to remove all the excess skin in August, and have since then gone to the Atkins diet to maintain my weight, and actually ive lost 30 more pounds since surgery. I was having to go to the gym 5x/week and workout for 35min each time (elipitcal) to keep from gaining any weight, even though i was only eating about 1500calories a day. I got tired of all that so i went to the Atkins diet and now i can eat whatever i want as long as its low carb and not gain any weight. Its great, and im glad i found this place.
