Default robert's lc world

A few weeks ago my brother, whom I rarely see, told me he was low-carbing it. He did not say outright, but I think he was encouraged to start because he saw how much lc'ing had helped me (60 pounds in 18 months). So I figured I'd send him some of my favorite recipes, and would code them in hypertext for easier navigation. I sent him seven or eight recipes, and doing so encouraged me to start my own hypertext recipe file, and yesterday morning I put up many of the recipes I could do off the top of my head. They are primarily for my own use, but anyone is free to consult them. I've only about 25 recipes to begin with, but the file will grow in time.

Hi --

I've posted some updates, including a new steak marinade and a Sauces page that will include cream sauces, mayonaises, compound butters, and some tips and tricks (under Miscellaneous Dynamics). The Sauces page is not very well developed yet, but I have a =lot= of ideas for it -- I used to prepare sauces for a living, so I have a lot room to expand here --

see: http://www.satipatthana.org/lc/

Please feel free to send me feedback, etc. Thanks, Robert

Default I also have created a web of collected recipes

Mostly because I wanted them all in one place, but you're willing to share.
I've tried to give credit to the author(s) where I knew them.

It will be constantly under construction, so:

(a) don't be afraid to check back again; and
(b) let me know of anything I've missed that you feel should be included, and I'll make the effort

http://www3.telus.net/public/a7a74290

Under the Site Map (or index - can't remember what I've called it) is also an alphabetical recipe index.

Hi all --

In my recipe for Thai (Sortof) marinated flank steak" I ramble on about how inaccurate is the term "Thai" in the name of the dish -- well recently I saw a bit on CNN about Thai food and I've finally tracked down the print article "Thai Food Spices up World". Oddly, the article is from last Fall, but I just saw the bit on TV maybe two Sundays ago -- go figure -- Robert

Baked Goods
Seafood
Beef
Poultry
Sauces, Seasonings, Oils, Dressings
Other (I didn't separate them into categories)
