Post Do you use carb counts on packages of your food or do you always go by Fitday?

I was wondering. For example, most carb counters like the one in DANDR
says cauliflower has about 4 grams carb (not net). Anyway I bought some
from Walmart and 1 cup is 3 grams 1 fiber so it is 2 net carbs. I think it
would come up higher on Fitday. Thats just one example, but do you
understand what I'm asking?

Also, my pepperoni package says 0 carbs, but there are
like 4 on Fitday.

Always use your package information whenever possible. Fitday is using general info, whereas your packaging is specific to exactly what you're eating.

Fitday takes the average of products and lists that. So do many food counters.

Go by the package, but do the math. Take and multiply the fat grams by 9, then multiply the carb and protien grams by 4. These numbers added should give you close to the total number of calories. Clsoe because they do round. If it is way off, then the product may of already subtracted fiber from the total carb amount. Add in the fiber times 4 and see what you get for total carbs.

I use the package info as well. And to all of the manufacturers out there who don't put nutritional information on your labels: You are creating business for your competition because I won't buy your product until you do.
